Policies & Closures for Severe Weather

  • Hazardous Conditions
We try very hard to deliver in spite of the weather. To ensure delivery of your meals, please arrange to have your sidewalk and driveway shoveled by the time of delivery. Our drivers cannot deliver if your walkways and driveways are hazardous. Please be patient with our brave drivers on these days as weather-related delays may occur.
  • Closure of Home Delivered & Congregate Meal Sites
Every now and then a storm is too much for even our courageous drivers. On days with extreme weather that makes driving too hazardous for our drivers, we will close both the congregate and home delivered meal options. We will let you know by announcing it on the radio: WTCH-960 AM, Shawano; and WATK-900 AM, Antigo; and on the television: WBAY TV 2, WFRV TV 5, Green Bay and WSAW TV 7 Wausau. You may also phone the Wolf River Region ADRC at: 1-855-492-2372 and they will be able to tell you.
